KID’S CORNER:  TRINITY’S CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

At Trinity Presbyterian Church, we believe that each child is a gift from God, and that, as adults, we are commanded to nurture them with love. We take seriously the vows of baptism, knowing that the relationships between children, youth and adults are necessary for the spiritual growth of all.
Believing that service is a “way of life,” rather than a project, we teach our children to reach out to others at an early age. Through our K.I.S.S. (Kids in Selfless Service) ministry, our children are encouraged to think about and do for others — whether it be other children, youth or adults. Worship, for our children, is both a learning and living experience. Through workshops such as the “Wee Worship” and “Children at the Lord’s Table,” little ones are giving opportunities to learn about worship at their stages of faith development.  On the Sunday designated as “Children’s Sabbath,” the children actually prepare and lead the service of worship.  In addition to the rotation workshop model for church school, our youngsters become better acquainted with the Bible through a course called, “Learning to Use My Bible.”
As we help water the seeds of faith and goodness that God has planted in our children, we joyfully watch them grow!
